Recent image dumpings

It was harder than I expected to start drawing again after finishing uni, but this horse doodle woke up some dormant drawing muscles. Needless to say, I was screaming quite loudly through the entire process of scrawling this.








This is somewhere between character design and drawing practice. I'm fairly happy with the gimp design, but I need the face of someone who you might find sheepishly scouting out sex-parties.


I caught In Bruges in HD last night and saw an oppertunity to capture Colin Farell's confused, stubbly face in considerable detail.


This was some simple free-hand perspective practice that I started inking. I stopped because I fell asleep.



I threw this together one night alongside watching the featured film.

There's not a lot that's practical about this project...

... but I'm intending to animate Jeff's Stelling's rant insisting that Middlesbrough isn't the worst town in the UK.

I'm back, and Project Tchi is complete.



I'll likely post some more making of material at some point, for this 5 minute short that I think may have nearly killed me. Thanks to Chris, Mike, Tom and Jem for everything they did in the making of this.
Now, I hope it doesn't sound arrogant when I say, that this is the greatest film, in the world!
