Gorillaz' Noodle with sparkling yo-yo - Mixed media YO!

This is a drawing of the fictitious Japanese guitarist at some point between the Demon Days and Plastic Beach era(s); likely after that time when a certain contingency, that didn't know Noodle was a girl, all became sexually confused and suicidal by the 2005 video for DARE. You can still hear(/read) their rattled gender-identities echoing dissaray throughout YouTube comments sections.
I started this without a proper reference, which resulted in this stylistic hybrid that looks a lot more like my regular kind-of-shit than the refined scrawlings of Jamie Hewlett (the stylistically developed barrrstard!), yet I was happy when people still recognised the character.
I tried out a range of different drawing materials on this one; including a graphite stick, slutty sanguine oil pencils, crayons, coloured ink fineliners, dash o' charcoal and some subtle tweekage on photoshop (..the legs).

I also saved a sharper black and white version, as I figured it looked more... professionalé than my childishly executed, yet.. colourful attempt at mixed media. V
